Just been into my local co-op (Ladybarn) and see this deal, haven't bought it, but seems to good to be true?

1 x Chicago Town stuffed crust limited edition (pulled pork) Takeaway pizza
1 x Coop Garlic Baguettes twin pack 310g
1 x Coop Potato Wedges bag 750g
1 x Coop Onion Rings bag 454g
1 x 1litre tub of Mackies ice cream

All for £5... is that right? Has anyone seen this and bought it? Is it worth me going back in?

Not sure if it's in all stores but definitely worth checking out at that price!

Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 12 May: This offer's back, with new items.

The Co-op is offering a frozen meal deal, for £5 (normally £10+) until Tue 26 May at selected stores across the UK. Participating stores are listed on the Co-op website, but it looks like it’s in larger stores only. The deal includes Birds Eye Harry Ramsden Cod in Batter as well as the Co-op branded straight cut oven chips, garden peas, vanilla ice cream and apple strudel.

Thanks to JT1983 for sharing this offer.

Piled high in my local co-op - massive open freezer full of it all next to each other so it's really easy to pick up. Selling fast, though.

I'm not sure about our area as I've not been in. Nothing posted has tempted me, seems like a load of junk. OK for a treat but hardly everyday food.

Oh the healthy police are in again  we don't have to eat it everyday, everyone needs a treat once in a while.

Had lots in our store yesterday, I got myself one, mam got one too. Good deal. Thank you OP.

I thought that's what I said but in slightly different words.

Nothing wrong with being healthy BTW.

Yes, I agree, nothing wrong with being healthy but the OP was just telling us about a good deal which is on at the minute in the Co-op, time to chill.

Not a great deal. Mackie's ice cream is usually £2. No idea about its price but is any frozen pizza worth much more than £1.50?

So instead of paying £3.50 for the pizza and ice cream they are upselling you £1.50 by throwing in extras that no money saver would buy.

Unfortunately, the co-op which is my local shopping place is well overpriced and the ice cream is worth over £3 and the pizza over £4, so the bill came to over £10 then took the offers off, with £5 left to pay. Co-op is well over-priced.

Just to add, I just checked out Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys and Mackie's is £3 in all of them not £2, where is it £2?
