Shocked whats on Noddle

Options
I've just registered with Noddle to check my credit file out and couldn't quite believe what I saw:

I'm going to hit the "something wrong" button, but surely they shouldn't be able to post stuff like that on there?

And just because I''ve got some finacial problems they shouldn't be able to threaten my life. just shows what low life scum were dealing with.

    That's incredibly poor form.

On the positive side, I suspect that you'll be able to get a tidy sum off them as compensation, following their complaints procedure.

Others will offer better advice shortly, but I'd report to noddle and get the contact details for Active Securities from them - make an official complaint to them and take it from there. If they don't give you a response you're happy with, you can take it to the FOS after 8 weeks (or once you've exhausted their complaints procedure).

I'm not too sure if I should report this to the police? Never been in this situation before.. I cannot see what the whole line says but I could guess its says "WE'RE COMING"?

That is disgusting and shocking!! Do not let them scare you.

I would report it to Noddle then to Active Securities Ltd via their complaints procedures (and progress to OFT and FOS?) Hopefully others will be along with better advice soon. Who was the original loan with?

Definately report it to the police!!

It's a Payday loan company called 24-7 Money Box, when I was at my lowest with my debt problems I used these thinking it would help. (It Didn't) but thankfully I relised my mistakes/problems and I'm on my way to resolving my debt with CCCS or step change as its called now..

    * I've just reported it to Noddle, their email states thats its upto 28 days for a response, I tried calling them but theres only a callback option that I've requested. I don't know about contacting Active securitys Ltd to complain as it's them whos made the threat (afterall they do have my address)

They are regulated by the OFT and I'd suspect it's one of their employees who's actually updated the data. Maybe contact the FOS consumer helpline and ask for their advice if you feel uncomfortable complaining to the company directly.

That is shocking, at first I thought it was the default but then realized what it says. Get them reported and complained against.

Ohhh...I see a nice tidy bundle of compensation comming right there.

Start writing letters. dont bother to wait for Noddle, you should be taking copies of this and forwarding directly to OFT, FOS etc and demanding that something is done about this. It's clear harrassment. Move fast and you can slap them with punitive damages.

If you're methodical about this, you'll get far more back than you owe. Result!

Dont forget EVERY paper in the country....Daily Mail love these kinds of stories.

Go for it son, get your own back. With a bit of luck, you can get someone fired and a company severely embarrassed.

Yes get the papers in, fair enough you made a mistake with the PDL but so have 99% of the people on here, you should not be harassed on a public file like that.

It's a shame that some people immediately see this type of thing, and think COMPENSATION! What a truy pathetic attitude.

So you think they should be able to threaten the OP's life with no consequences? Money is the only language these companies understand and if losing some teaches them they can't treat people this way that is a good thing.
