Was 131.9 near me this morning.
It should be about 128 though if they properly reflected the crude price though.0 -
Sadly it is a 30 mile round trip to my nearest Sainsbury petrol station and nearly as far to Tesco.0

They are all at it saw one add for 15p a litre off for £60 of shopping IIRC think it was Morrisons, which is already cheaper by us anyway (7 miles).
I always find ASDA cheapest with no need to actually shop there unfortunately that's 15 miles away
With all these offers it just means two things -either the fuel is overpriced or the groceries are."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Sainsburys in Ferndown has a petrol station - about 9 miles from FordingbridgeSadly it is a 30 mile round trip to my nearest Sainsbury petrol station and nearly as far to Tesco.
Tesco at Salisbury Business Park, or also in Ferndown, also both have petrol - both about 10 miles from Fordingbridge.
But I would never suggest making a journey specifically to buy fuel. Better to take the opportunity to tank up whilst you are out and about and passing nearby

Cheeky blighters! :mad:Tesco announced a promotion which offers 10p per litre off fuel for customers who buy two packs of Andrex toilet rolls.
The vouchers are being offered from today for shoppers who buy two nine-packs of Andrex, which will cost £8.
The promotion runs until 3 June and customers will have another fortnight to redeem their vouchers.
Tesco UK marketing director David Wood says: "We know families are feeling the pinch and the cost of fuel continues to be a concern for many, so I am delighted to be offering great value in store and on the forecourt."
Tesco were selling those 2 for £7 last week! (2 for £6 in selective stores)
Asda are currently selling Andrex 12 packs for a fiver each ... and cheap fuel without the need for any vouchers

I hate all these updates about petrol prices, like 3p a litre makes a difference to anybody,
considering most people fill up once a week or once a fortnight its nothing, a saving
of 0.2p per mile for most.
it'll be news when the price drops to close to a quid a litre.
I can save a massive 21p on my scooters tank, which is a saving of 0.0015 per mile...0 -

Do the terms of your till spit not specifically prohibit the use of multiple coupons in a single transaction?
Typically it does."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

Not sure as its in the OHs handbag, when Tesco were doing these vouchers for buying specific items before, you could use up to 3 coupons at the same time - hence askingMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!
