You have the wrong forum to raise this moan about stamp prices. In any case try delivering a letter from one end of the UK to the other for 42p. I bet you won't even get down your road for that!

Too right.
It can be a grabbit, you just need to buy lots of stamps with 1st or 2nd class on them, even if the price goes up RM honour it.

I reckon it's all part of the plan to privatise RM. There will be a lot of payoffs and probably redundancies too so they need to get a load of cash stashed.

Lets just hope some of this extra cash filters down to posties and sorting office staff and all those at the lower end.
It will be interesting to see if the unions push for a decent rise at the next pay talks.
