Anyoen had an Email from AEG to say that their Rod Stewart tickets from ents24 for Glasgow's gig tonight are now cancelled :mad:

i have, wondering how many people will not get the email and turn up thou, i was offer o2 tickets for the 28th but av already arranged to get to glasgow tonight so don't want to arrange to go london then get the same email !4 children = no matching socks

Yup, me and claire have both had the email, i have replied and made a major complaint. There were only supposed to be 5 winners orginally, so it looks like they messed up. Do we even have a leg to stand on here?? Im gutted.
I was offered London in 2 days time, but it only said "a ticket" Cant believe it

I would have thought that you do have reasonable grounds for complaint here - even if it is just for loss of good faith.
However, the terms and conditions of the competition must surely work in your favour as well as theirs - and they can't decide to break them just before the gig because of their error.
I'd ask if they could get you a signed album, or tickets to another concert at the same venue if it was me.0 -

I too have just got the cancellation email.
I've cancelled the babysitter, oh has been told and I'm near to tears..
At least I'm only 20 mins away -some poor souls are travelling & will have no idea 'til they get there...:(______________________________________0 -

I am furious, thank goodness I went into my emails or we would have turned up at the SECC...as someone else has said, we are only 20 minutes away but I feel sorry for others who might already be on their way to Glasgow.
I certainly will be complaining.0 -
I have already complained to Adele at Ents 24, this was her reply:
Hi Claire,
Thanks for your e-mail. Unfortunately these tickets were given to Ents24 by the promoter AEG who rang up at 3pm to tell us they could not fulfil the promised allocation to us. We were not surprisingly very annoyed and have asked AEG to get in touch with every winner to let them know direct to explain and offer compensation. They have as an alternative offered every winner tickets to see Rod Stewart in London on Wednesday. If you can go, I urge you to take up their offer as I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time.
Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the error.

I do not think that one ticket for the London concert is any compensatition at all, how safe is it for one person to travel there alone etc?
