Ladies, I ate like a pig last night. I do it everytime MRM is working away and really need to combat this. Didn't help that I still had chocolate and Haribo in from Christmas! Anyway, no point dwelling on it but will actively cut the syns back until WI on Monday.

    So :-

BF: Fat Free Greek Yogurt and berries plus banana
Lunch: LO HM curried veg soup and 3 chicken drumsticks
    Tea: Tortilla pizza

What about organising something special to do when he is away again x

I've just realised it is exactly a year today since I joined SW!
I went to a group for the first 3 months, and then relied on the support of everyone on this thread (thank you, all).

    So in that year:
I've lost 3 st (but regained 2lb over Christmas)
I've lost 2/3 dress sizes and look better in my clothes
    I feel generally healthier
    My knees don't hurt daily
I can walk uphill without a struggle
I'm easily getting my '5 a day' every day, usually more
I'm eating food I enjoy and I'm only hungry if I miss a meal
My tastes have changed and, with the exception of chocolate, are healthier
I've saved money by planning meals and not buying rubbish
OH has lost half a stone too!

If anyone had told me I'd be able to do this for a whole year (with the occasional lapse!) I wouldn't have believed it. I've still a few lbs to go but I'll do it.

I know I could be preaching to the converted but this does work. Stick with it, those just starting out. It gets easier and becomes 'normal' eventually.

    Wonderful achievements xx

I agree though I blew 5 on a small bowl of cornflakes today which wouldn't even normally be my cereal of choice and I enjoyed every bite!

Breakfast: cornflakes and milk (HEA and 5 syns)
Lunch: grilled chicken, rice, salad, small amount feta, 1 tbsp tzatziki and 1 triangle pitta bread (guessing 6 syns)
Dinner: cod, rice, peas, sweetcorn carrots broccoli

    Snack: toffeee muller light

I wasn't working today so had a pamper day. I had a Brazilian blow dry this morning, lunch out with a friend and a back massage in the afternoon. Just going to chill with a good book tonight.

Is this having your lady hair blow dried!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Food today.

    Breakfast/lunch
    1 kg carrot
    1 bag tomato

    Tea
New potato, ham, egg, peas, salad
Melon, FF greek Yog. and sprinkle of all bran.

    Good evening,

Well done to all the losers, happy holiday Denise!

I went to WI on Weds expecting the worst but miraculously STS!

Hopefully I'll start losing again this week.

My consultant is meh. Nothing to write home about, not inspiring and very uninformed about vegan food. Am not impressed but the class is the only morning one I can attend so I'm stuck. The group members seem friendly enough but they keep themselves to themselves, not much hope to socialise there. Next week is my last of the 6 and then I'll decide if to go it alone. What's people's opinion about doing it without the group?Thank you.

Edited to add: I save all my syns for fat! Olive oil, extra cheese or nuts, avocado.am I the only one? I would rather have oil on my salad than chocolate!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

If if doesent work for you, then you could go back to group.
