    First Anniversary Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!

    Tiny I feel your pain and despair. Remember when I went on my Norway cruise and stopped overnight in Amsterdam? I had my passport folder stolen from my wrist bag when in the lift at the station.

    Yes my paper listen every was in there. I cried over that crumpled ancient piece of paper. I was so proud of it and it had gone or ever, never to be returned. Worst of all I had to have a plastic card one.

    I hadn't thought of the cost of replacing said license after Mr AJ moaned about whether we would be allowed to go on the cruise as passports both his and mine had been stolen too, he moaned about the cost to replace these, and my Kronas had gone. None of it mattered to me apart from that piece of history as crumpled and torn as it was.

    I hope it turns up Tiny ((hugs)) X

    Oh AJ I didn't remember you had all that stolen. :o Yes my passport is recent and it would not bother me as much as my little piece of history, that I have carried around for over 20 years taken on nights out in my back pocket, been through the washer a couple of times. Was my only ID to sign for mum's banking too. It has some memories attached. But I must remember it is only a bit of paper, but I was proud that I still had it. :o

    You have my sympathies TS. I lost my paper licence a couple of years ago - it was with my passport, which was lost/stolen in Dublin. Never got either of them back :( So I too am now on the renewal treadmill.

    Off out to collect my chocs shortly :)

    Evening folks :D

    With all this talk about the co-op, I nipped into mine on the way home for some milk and came away with 4 x 4 packs of napolina chopped tomatoes for 99p a pack, 2 boxes of 160 typhoon tea bags for 89p each and mincemeat for 29p a jar

    I'm not suggesting that this is national cos it probably isn't but it's worth a look if you're passing to see what reductions your store might have :)
