Made the final payment towards my June holiday today, so I'm saving £17.10 a month from now on :j
Booked it pre-lightbulb moment back in early 2016, but it only cost £396 (£198 each :D) so I'm looking forward to that. A chance to get away from this house and this dismal town :)
Just gotta save some spending money now, £15 so far

Just a quick update. Paid £5 off my barclaycard - I like to have nice even numbers
So at the moment its £2660. DD is going out on the 18th so then it'll be a nice even £2600 :o

Mum sent me over a tenner to get some food. She worries too much, I'd rather she didn't send me money cos I'm pretty sure she needs it more than I do.

    Debt right now:
    Lloyd's CC: £670
    Tesco CC: £75.40
    Barclaycard: £2660
    Very: £63

    total: £3468.40

Nice knowing that the Tesco CC and Very will be cleared on the 24th though :j

Nice to see the numbers getting smaller!

Mums will always worry, it comes with the territory. They feel better if they think they are helping. :)

Afternoon all. I hope everyone had a good Easter filled with lots of chocolate! :icotbaske
£60 DD paid of Barclaycard today :j
I'm heading into town today to:
    1. Replace the broken iron (insured for 3 years when I bought it :D )
    2. Deposit coin bags in the bank from my spare change jar - £8 :D
    3. Buy a plain black top from Primark for my trial shift next week
    4. Buy cheap chocolate gifts for the three birthdays coming up

The iron was only around £3-£4 Argos basic range. Got 3 years accidental insurance for it for only a pound! So glad I did because I dropped it a few months ago and things have snapped off. It was still working but now it leaks everywhere, so gotta go replace it.

Spare change jar consists of only coppers and 5p's but £8 is better than no pounds :)

The trip to town yesterday had good surprises and a bad one. Turns out the Argos store has closed down and the nearest one now is a couple of miles in the opposite direction :( so gonna have to plan a trip there soon to replace the iron
I had an extra bag of pennies so I deposited £9 instead of £8 :)
Got some much needed hair stuff for half the price at the till which was a good surprise :T
Got chocolate for the birthday presents from poundland so it only cost £3 for them. Feel kinda bad as they're more like token gifts rather than thoughful ones, but I can't afford anything more expensive :(
And £50 from topcashback finally was made payable so I've requested that, woop! :j

5 days till student finance

It's still nice of you to buy presents for others. Doesn't matter the cost :)

Yeah I guess so. I would be quite happy if someone just gave me chocolate as a present anyway haha :rotfl:
I'm gonna make mum some cupcakes for her birthday cake too. She wants to go camping for a night so cupcakes would be easier to bring and eat. So hopefully she'll be happy with them + the chocolate + the small gift leftover from christmas :)

Just made two dozen cupcakes and iced them. Presents wrapped and cards written. Washing done. Suitcase packed. Done all the things I needed to get ready for camping on Monday. *phew*
Although I've been hearing that the good old British weather is deciding to go to freezing temperatures and even snow on Monday

Yesterday I got paid £11.25 for the hour and a half training for my new job I did a few weeks ago. And also the £50 cashback has cleared in my bank :j Updated YNAB and gave myself a little leeway on 'dining out' and 'fun money' for this camping trip. Getting paid student finance on Monday AT LAST!! I can't be doing with this getting paid just 3 times a year malarky. Can't wait to get my shifts from work, fingers crossed they want me to start this semester instead of September.
