Finally received my cheque from the 2 items I sold at auction last month. Netted £197.36 after auctioneer's commission so I'm really pleased:j. Cheque will take a few days to clear (can't pay it in until tomorrow anyway) but have already added it to my total as there shouldn't be any problem receiving the money in my account before the month end:T.

One of the items was a revolving piano stool, really old, over 100 years, which belonged to my Grandma. It had had a hard life and was in very tatty condition. It's languished in our shed for about 20 years. No one else in the family wanted it so I took it in, planning to replace the upholstered top and paint the wood so I could use it as a dressing table stool. I don't sit at a dressing table much now so it wasn't an urgent job. Just one more thing I didn't got round to:o and thank goodness I never got to paint it which would have totally devalued it. Just goes to show that procrastination can sometimes pay;)

Shocking week at work so my sales at home have stalled to a complete halt! This weekend I'm hoping to make a little bit of cash, so bumping all my FB posts and checking eBay ones! Wish me luck! :j

    Yes, good luck, Bigskies:beer:

Well done to everyone else:T. I'm very envious of your book sales across all the companies that you deal with, FatVon.

    I hope you're OK, Lynne:)

Shopping at Morrisons this morning and was given 2 x £5 vouchers at the till:j. It was pouring with rain and I moved a trolley abandoned in the space I wanted to park in and found a £1 coin left in the slot:j
