    I sometimes cook them and mash them up when they're cooled with some mayo as a sandwich spread.

    That sounds sooooooo nice (except using ketchup as I can't eat eggs!).

    Are these the ones covered in those breadcrumbs? OH buys them occasionally but we both hate them (so why does he buy them you ask).

    What I do is cook them, toast a couple of pittas, break them up a but and stick them in the pitta with loads of salad and sauce (to cover the taste) and they are actually quite edible like that. Makes a passable weekend lunch.

    Could crumble them up for fish/shepherd's pie topping or a casserole. Crumble, add mince and tinned tomatoes for chilli.

    I would definitely recommend both of Weezl's nut roast recipes which can be found at
