Round up of this week. First full week in work for ages. It was ok , but the voice managed it just. I think I am paranoid now about being ill again. HR will no doubt be in touch as I have hit every trigger for sickness there is. Am not to worried though .

Today being half term for DGS I had him overnight last night and today we went to a local gallery with a Victorian street in it. Then we got the bus again into the big city to buy a birthday present . Having DGD on Sunday instead.

    Spends

    4.50 bus fare for me
£8.50 snacks and drinks whilst out .
    £60 birthday present .

Tomorrow is cleaning day and waxing .
    Sunday shopping.

Do not worry about HR and the sickness, you have sick notes and are clearly ill. You will be well again so not capability, so as long as you have followed reporting procedures you are ok.

We dress it up as 'concern and support' ;) but those policies are usually there to catch out fridayitus rather than the genuinely ill. If they are using the standard calculators then you are safer having one long run than you are multiple short incidents.

Happy to help if they do kick off.

Having fun with the DGC will be the best tonic. Glad your voice is returning.
I find the people who worry the most about being off sick are the people who should worry least! Your work know you were ill so do not stress about it :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

Glad you're feeling better and like others have said, try not to stress about work. It's genuine so I guess they have to be on their toes for those people who are pulling a fast one!

Busy weekend , but the sun made it so much better. Feeling like I have my mojo back at long last. However still mindful that I need to take it carefully for a couple more weeks

Redfromstart , thank you for your input on the sickness issue , I may take you up on the offer , will see how it goes. The words support and concern are used by my employer now as well.

    Spends this weekend :

    Waxing £21
Shopping £21.56 that included some flowers for a work colleague who has been brill with me and biscuits for the rest of the team as they have been supportive.

Hoping the week will be 4 NSD .

Glad you are starting to feel better, like everyone else I'm urging you not to overdo things.
Lovely walk in Keswick and then back through the villages yesterday and a final spin round the tarn with the dog as the sunset, was so nice but the wind was definitely icy. Super cold here today but still gloriously sunny. Hope you have the same sunshine - so uplifting.
