Weekend has just flown by, very up and down in lots of ways but muddling through. A couple of shopping trips and I think I have most of the kits needed for DS trip. New trainers/boots x2, spare shorts, smart trouser for post match socialising, flipflops, baseball cap. need to get sunglasses. all on top of a smart suit and a dinner suit, all purchased in last three weeks. :eek:Have also bought new luggage in the sales, its been a long long time since we have been on a big holiday where I'm not just throwing things in the car!
tomorrow am home with DS, will get him to count things up. Have done lots of washing and I want to put away everything that I can this week (also need to sew in loads of name labels:(
Am working at 2nd part time job from Tuesday until following Tuesday, also have DD's graduation on next Monday - she got her results and has got 1st class hons :T:T:T Also had speech day last weekend and DS did me proud too and came away with year subject prizes for 3 of the 4 subjects that
he has chosen for A level. :T:T boasty mum moment:rotfl: sorry about that :rotfl: I am just so relieved that they both put their heads down and got on with it despite the sad year we have had.
DD just accepted an offer to do MA so she must have enjoyed it
though the level of student debt is going to be horrendous.
Mum has been staying with sister helping her this week, so didn't have to visit anyone this weekend. Lucky, as hands quite painful, driving would only exacerbate it more.
Am going to struggle for holiday clothes, feeling very frumpy at the moment. Though it will be winter there so won't need to expose much fortunately:rotfl:
Need to have a soak now to try and ease up joints ,
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend

Dear Noah,
:T:T:T:T to both your wonderful children :T:T:T:T
I am intrigued by your upcoming trip.. winter.. so long flight.. upside down maybe...? Not flying upside down I mean visiting the other side of the world?? Where ever you are going I hope you all have a lovely break as a family (well ds is doing his own thing.. but I assume you are in the same vicinity..)
Take care and make sure you relax before you go, don't want you all worn out and unable to enjoy it..

Work work work today but did manage to nip into town today after work to enquire about currency, check prices for insect repellent, and buy other odds and ends in boooots and Sooperdrug and ordered prescription sun glasses for DS (with 50% off voucher), fill up car with fuel and do a grocery shop in 90 mins
A couple of quotes to type up and send off (2 more referrals) fingers crossed - desperately needed to feed the pipeline for when we get back!
Very pleased to report that I've just got my first TopCB payout in Deben**hams evoucher of £92 for the past year:T:T A big thank to MSE diaries for introducing me to that .... was it you Brizzle? I can't quite remember now - saw it talked about in several places.....
Anyway,
got to get ready for work tomorrow, feeling very tired and wishing I had not agreed to work this week, but find it hard to turn work away. Probably too late for a soak now
