Thanks BusyMee, it does feel like there might be light at the end of the tunnel :j

Transferred a TT of 92p today together with £135.59 which was two refund cheques which have cleared on my statement today. One had the dodgy spelling of my name so I am so relieved that has cleared as it had taken nearly two months to get the original refund from a unscrupulous (that's me being polite :rotfl:) dishwasher repair man!! Also after finding the previously mentioned stash of coppers in DHs wardrobe, this included a massive £34.14 of change :T ShangaiJimmy would be proud of me :rotfl: Massive pile of ironing to tackle now  might put a film on to ease the pain. Enjoy the weekend.

NSD today :T and just done a little TT of 41p to round off the day. Had a "proud mum" moment today as DS4 was performing with his local choir. Lovely way to finish the half-term - back to it tomorrow though!

Little bit of a spend today as I was too disorganised this morning to make some lunch! However, it was my personal spends so it doesn't really matter and it was yummy. Why does it always taste better if you don't make it yourself :rotfl: Got the chance of about 10 extra hours of work at the end of term so that's a few extra pennies. Might put that towards holidays spends and bump them up a little . 14p TT to finish off the day :T

Hi TryHarder  thanks so much for your kind comments and for battling through my diary :). Yes, I have to say the journey would be much quicker without the 4 DSs :rotfl: but don't begrudge them a penny - and you are right, this MFW is sooooo addictive.

Received my £200 student finance rebate today. Am very impressed that it has come through so quickly. Won't be able to get to the bank until the weekend, but am pleased with the result. I do wonder though just how many people don't realise they can claim it back. It's certainly not well advertised.

Only other news is an 82p TT to report today :T

No me neither, every penny we have had has gone on the children and our lives together as a family ,wonderful memories that are priceless, lots of money wasted too though for example at the beach friend took cool box for lunch and drinks i took all my children to cafe on beach for lunch ,what ice cream would you like 4 magnums rather than 4 mini milks that kind of waste .But i have learnt from it now trying to be more careful.

I am with you there TryHarder on the wasted money. Really wish we had found the MFW magic sooner when the boys were younger. However, on a positive note, better late than never :rotfl: Also wish DH was a little more on board. He says all the right things, but doesn't always do them :( After a crazy day at work and trying to be in about 4 places at once this evening, treated me and DS4 to a little fastfood treat as we were the only ones at home. It was painful paying for it, but have to have a little treat every now and then. However, not sure my slimming world targets have been helped by that little indulgence :o 42p TT today, creeping up nicely. No other money news really. Off to water the garden as the rain hasn't arrived yet :)

Excited today as DS1 and DS2 are coming home from Uni this weekend :j will be lovely to have all 4 DSs reunited. However, I had forgotten how much extra the shopping would cost  despite my best planning feeding two extra "blokes" makes a big difference but so worth it. DS1 is only home for about a week and then he is off to the states for a working summer. Great opportunity for him but we will miss him :( DS2 & DS3 will be working over the summer to fill up their bank accounts (have trained them in the art of MSE :rotfl: ), so DS4 and I will be rattling around. Very different days from when they were all little and I was like a manic entertainments officer :rotfl: Miss those days but also lovely to see them grow up into independent young men. TT of 36p today. Happy Friday everyone.

My boys are home :T Yippee I love it when we are all together again. The house however looks as though a small tornado has torn through it leaving a wave of carrier bags, plastic crates, odd shoes and various other oddments strewn across every room :rotfl: Yes they are definitely home. No money news really apart from a 67p TT. NSD today, but a spendy Saturday as it was a close friend's birthday. However did have a £10 M&S gift voucher that DH found when clearing out an office he was working in. So gift only cost me a fiver. Result :T
