Cheesy pasta - boil pasta, add sweetcorn to heat. Once cooked add grated cheese and ham or tuna (leave out if veggie).

As long as it takes to boil pasta. My kids love it. Cheesy rice and cheesy noodles are also favourites :D

I love meals that are minimum fuss but tasty.

Risotto, really easy and takes 25 minutes. I even set the timer to make sure i dont over cook the rice.

Something else I love is mushroom chow mein takes 10 minutes, husband gets some left over chicken in his if there is any.

Vegetable cous cous, stir fry some peppers, red onion, courgette, aubergine add spices, then the cous cous and water. serve with grilled haloumi and pitta breads.

Given the fear & loathing I have for the frying pan (it bites me), the remarkable go-to has become fried spam & egg in pitta. Chaps got bored of pasta from pouch...

Husband a far better cook, (with no fear if frying), does a lovely corned beef hash, full English or if allowed long enough, huevos rancheros.

I'm a lucky woman. Round, but lucky.

    In the cupboard, always have...

Tin of new potatoes. Drain, rinse, slice. Into your Spanish Tortilla. Yum.

Tin of salmon. Mix with Creme fraiche, seasoning, herbs whatever. Add to pasta. Yum

Tin of tomatoes. Dress them up whatever way you want in a pot while heating up...herbs, garlic, cream, yada yada, and pasta. Yum.

Fish finger sandwiches with mayo. Omg!

Stir fry veg and noodles. Pack of stir fry fresh veg from Mr T if I'm really in a hurry, (yellow sticker of course) 3 min to cook while the noodles are boiling then another minute to chuck and thicken in the home made sauce.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Thing to remember is....quick is good, if it's satisfying and tastes good, it's good, no matter what it is. Now and then.

Five a day and faff is not necessary to keep us alive EVERY day.

Rebellion with quick and tasty, and probably bad stuff (food police) is great now and then. Isn't it?
