I'm sure quite a few horror movies started off with families arriving at properties like this, saying things like "It's a bit isolated" "What a charming old place" plus "And it's surprisingly affordable".

True. Maybe it was the scene of a mass murder or devil worship, subject to local legend. Wouldn't put me off though, although the renovation costs might!

In my humble experience, Stags rarely get value far wrong.
Even without the TV connections, the location explains all, though I've never understood the attraction of the place myself.0 -
