I got £97.15 on my M&S RS 6% that matured yesterday (and they wouldn't let me change my SO date).

I have updated the first post of this thread with the changes to the First Direct, HSBC and M&S account interest rates. The entire 6% interest category has vanished now! The interest rate calculations are done using the regular savings calculator tool on this page of Martin's website and I have recalculated them all now using the new 5% interest rate for these accounts. I have also added a note on the Santander 123 account entry in the first post about the interest rate dropping in November.

It's still £75 a year - it's not interest so the tax is still taken off at source.

Thanks, first post updated and I have removed everything paying less than 3% to keep things simple and easier to update - still plenty of accounts in the first post.

Issue 3 is still paying 3.05%, was pulled from sale 16th September its issue 4 paying 2.30%, those that still have issue 3 are getting the higher rate, and you can have both issues.
