Need an IRISH bank account.

Anyone know such a bank ? (i know there is bank of Ireland) but not sure of the fees.

    Where are you from?

    EU rules state that any bank need only open a basic bank account for other EU nationals.
    This would seem to rule out contactless.

    Looking at Bank of ireland it says i can apply online and upload a scanned copy of my passport to them ?

    It doesn't necessarily rule out contactless, several UK institutions offer them to basic account holders. Who's to say about other countries?

    Will be using the debit card in Ireland, when i'm over there now and them for a few months (work related)

    Why don't you just open a Euro bank account in the UK.... Doesn't need to be an Irish account just because your going to Ireland. Ireland does accept Euro because it's in the Eurozone.

    Or just get a revolut card as Revolut does basically what you want it to do.

    I have a HSBC euro account, but it doesn't give you a debit card or anything... rather silly.


    I'll be living n working there so earning a salary and paying bills for a few months and going back n forth Uk/IE etc

    Ok some issues, upon applying (it's not accepting my UK mobile number) anyway around this?)


    Irish numbers are 10 digits uk is 11 (stuck here)
