:o Sorry, another one late to the party!

I've just returned to the boards as I need to renew my frugal focus! I've raided lots of my pots today, including my too heavy to handle penny pot, so it seems I might have enough there to help me play catch up. The focus of this challenge will really help me to get all of my pennies for the remainder of the year really working for me, so it would be great to join in if it's not too late please?

BTW - do you all keep the pennies on the go or do you pot them across to the bank? I'm not sure whether to keep on potting until the end of the year or deposit to the bank as I go (so's not to risk dipping into it)!

:D Ta muchly for the challenge!

    Hello PlaysNicely!!
I've kept mine in a jar but am thinking of transferring to the bank for the same reason as you stated. I don't think it matters where you keep it as long as your saving :)

Thanks Foxyloxy, I've put it all into a pretty tin at the moment but I need to have a spring clean of bank accounts, so may well find one I can use to bank it as it reaches certain round numbers.

I've sorted my silver & £1 coins, didn't manage to quite catch up to where I would be if I'd started at the beginning, but it's not looking too bad ... hoping to make a few extra payments here and there to catch it up by the end of the year, we definitely need to boost the coffers a little!

    Total so far: £61.13 / £667.95

End of month money shuffle, clearing purses and pockets of odds this week to try to catch up on some of the days missed means another £12.41 added, giving a total of £ 73.54.

:o However, being slightly OCD about that very unround number I've appropriated a little out of the car parking fund in the car to add the odd £1.46 which brings the total so far to a much calmer £75!

    Happy weekend to all.
