Hooray! worked out how to get it for about £110.
Check your local Dixons or PC World has it in stock. check the price they will sell it to you at.
e.g. PC World is £124.80 at the mo.
Dixons is £122.55
Check there is a comet within 10 miles
Print out comets price match policy - e.g. they will match the price but will also BEAT it by 10%
See Here
http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/content.do?breadcrumb=no&categoryId=13&includeUrl=/comet/ev2/content/services/html/pricing.htm&pageName=Services_pricing&knowledge=no
Comet should then sell to you at the PC world or dixons price
but 10% off e.g. £110.
Let me know how you get on - I managed it at Comet, Longwell Green, Bristol, and there is a pc world at Bath within 10 miles that had it in stock.0 -

Hope this helps a few people make up their minds - and don't foget - once you've bought this you will NEVER need to pay for any traffic updates (unlike some other units)

In my office we've just bought an F20 (paid £126), and also a Medion Go Pal 210 (paid £99).
By comparison, the Medion is total pants.
The F20 whips it's butt in every comparison, and the extra 20quid or so is well worth it.
My brother has a top-end £400 Tomtom (the post one with the huge HDD in it etc). This is a proper sexy bit of kit, but 99% of the time it does the same job at the F20.
If you're looking for a Satnav just to get you from A to B, then buy the F20. Even the screen looks great!0 -

We won’t just match the price – we’ll beat it by an extra 10% of the DIFFERENCE. (not the total price)
So Comet sell for £149.99, Dixons £122.55, giving a price DIFFERENCE of £27.44. 10% of that is £2.74, so comet will sell for £119.81.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
Has anyone else NOT been able to add a house number when they do a postcode search? Has it also randomly assigned a house number for your home address which you then can't change?
Has anyone else found the mapping to be cluttered and unclear?
Has anyone else found the advice in the manual to download updates nonsensical when they don't supply a cable in the box for it?
I can't believe the above was unique to me, either that or everyone else is just living with it.
I'm using a Garmin Streetpilot i3 as a benchmark which made the F20 seem very disappointing. Especially as the i3s quite a bit cheaper.0 -

yes but that's partly down to the fact that gps is only accurate to about 10m. You can always put the street address in then enter a number anyway!
Has anyone else found the mapping to be cluttered and unclear?
Looks fine to me
Has anyone else found the advice in the manual to download updates nonsensical when they don't supply a cable in the box for it?
Not really - all the gps manufactures are at the option extra game0 -

Its a matter of personal preference. Ultimately me the Navman was the better buy for me.0 -

What makes you think it's got a poor antenna? Have you tried it? I haven't had any problems with it at all.
Additionally, disregarding RRP, you can quite easily pick up an i3 for £89 at the moment.0 -

F20 (mine) found 4 satellites in under a minute. i3 (mates) took almost 5 minutes and was not as accurate. It then dropped the signal. Perhaps this was a one off dud.0
