  • Dont believe those words, Those people are saying upto 65 % on main dealer which may be 5 % or even 1 %. the other important thing is they calculate the main dealer price with vat and their price with out vat, In effectively you may have to pay more than the main dealer price and you have to wait for long to get the work to be done for example they are saying same day delivery, it is not possible at all as to get an appointment it will take 2 to 3 days. For our Mazda 5 the service prices were:

    Mazda 5 All Models £109 & £149

Now my dealer service costs for our 5 Diesel are £470 first service, £370 for the second. But this is because the stupid diesel engine needs cam cover off to adjust clearances. So I can't see how S4S can perform the same job to the manufacturers spec.

    There is this disclaimer though:

"Some vehicle services require specialist oils, spark plugs, fuel filters or pollen filters. These will be charged at an advised, additional cost."

  • it is quite interesting as some providers saying we can save upto 65% some of them are 60% all are games to cheat common people. Any way no one is offering 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on dealer price
  • I would really recommend you check Service4Service thoroughly - we used them and had nothing but trouble. The Customer Service was appalling and you have to pay before they will deliver your car which means you have already paid before making sure the work has been done to your satisfaction.
  • If you’re concerned about car service costs google what's my service cost they compare the interim service and full service costs of the independent UK national car service providers.

    Why?

Just phone around your local independent garages for a quote. Also ask friends and family for ones they use/recommend.

    Search term spam?
  • I was ripped off by them recently, cost me over £180 for some anti roll bar linkages for a Clio. I called a main Renault dealer afterwards, who quoted me £122 inc vat fitted. When I called to speak to Paul, who originally quoted me, and who I presume is one of the main guys there, he would not return my calls. I called several times. So it actually cost me 50% more rather than the 65% less claim as quoted on their ads. AVOID !
  • Obviously having read the previous posts on here, as I do with many things I buy, I made sure I put a lot of time into this. In the end, I decided to give these a go and I was very impressed. Very good service, easy to use and best of all, their price was cheaper than anywhere else (that I valued! :)). Would easily say yes to using them again or recommending :T
