I requested from the DVLA information on who had obtained my information around the alleged date. They sent me a letter and a copy of the v888/2 used, I don't have it in front of me but I'm pretty sure it was in the name of One Parking (or what ever they were trading as then). It was stated that it was for a PCN as well.0

one parking were in a ATA , so therefore must have used v888/3 (parking Cos) did you not question this? or have the DVLA made another &*(%$up?

Actually I didn't know to question it, as I didn't know there was even a v888/3 for them to use, now you have me questioning what form they sent me. Let me double check when I've got it in front of me.
Assume for the moment they used the correct form which as you say would be a v888/3 does the DPA still apply/limit the extent to which my data can be passed on?0 -

in other cases the PPCs have simply said "sorry guv , wont do it again" to the DVLA , and had there hands slapped
in the case of UK parking (non ltd) the were not registered with the IPC at the date of the sale LTD (as a company) were , therefore the owner Steven Paul CHEETHAM is guilty of an ICO offence
But neither organisation has any real balls, they sold those to the highest bidder a while back.0 -
if they applied using v888/3 , specific to parking Cos , they got your details and passed them on , not sure if the offence is by using electronic or paper , however the paper version clearly states
I declare that the information given is correct to the best of
my knowledge. I will not use the information that I am given
for any other purpose than that stated in section 5. I am aware
that, under Section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1998, it is an
offence to unlawfully procure or sell personal information.

So it was actually a v888/3 (that will teach me to post without having the document in front of me)
They certainly don't state they they intend to sell the driver details under the purpose.0 -
in fact in the little box directly above the sig
are the words

Other then the MCOL this is everything I've had from Mil
Why does it make a difference that they are not a member of the IPC now? They were (just) when the information was given out by the DVLA.
I'm not sure I follow your point about the name?0
