Tesco value beans aren't watery. They have much less sauce than Heinz and only 25p a tin. :)

Mmm love a bit of bean juice! Recently bought those tiny Heinz beans tins and I was deeply disappointed with the LACK of juice :(

I don't know if it is still the case but I read some years ago that the CEO of Morrisons preferred Branston baked beans and changed the brand they used in their cafes to Branstons.

It's called downsizing. All food manufacturers do it instead of raising prices. Look at the size of chocolate bars now compared to a few years ago.

I find it varies from can to can ... some are very saucy (ooer) and some less so.

I don't like much sauce with my beans, but SWMBO likes lots of sauce. I guess it's a Catch 22 situation - you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Always surprised by the range of prices. Asda =£2.50/4, Lidl=£1.25/4

I know Asda would have a margin but that's mor like the whole page.

    No-one wants bean juice.

    I do!!

I hate beans with a passion, the texture makes me heave, but I couldn't have a fry up without bean juice.

When I dish up, I put some juice on my plate first, next to my sausages, dish up everyone else's beans, then if there's any more juice left I have that too.

Spaghetti hoop juice just isn't the same either.

We still like Heinz BB and have not noticed any difference
    But thanks for asking
I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.
