We now have an EDF Rep on the Forum. They could be busy.

There are some typos in the statement.

EDF says in a statement: "We are obviously disappointed we have not been in a position to [STRIKE]consistently[/STRIKE] deliver [STRIKE]the high [/STRIKE]any levels of service that we expect of ourselves and that our customers have been used to.
"We sincerely apologise to those customers who have experienced any problems during this [STRIKE]temporary[/STRIKE]lengthy period and thank them for their patience.
"Throughout this year we have been [STRIKE]carefully[/STRIKE] incompetently implementing new systems which, once fully in place, will fingers crossed deliver new and improved services for our customers."

  • Amy,

Basically, I started my transfer from E.ON to EDF on the 22nd July. However, E.ON still have my money that is in credit. I just wondered when I'm likely to get it back?

From the EDF statement in the article
"Throughout this year we have been carefully implementing new systems which, once fully in place, will deliver new and improved services for our customers."
Is "carefully" a euphemism for "ever-so-slowly"?
