HBOS is the UK's largest mortgage bank. With the housing market forecast to fall for the next 2 years at least the only way for these shares is down, down, down. Sell now!!

HBOS is the UK's largest bank

It's not. It is the largest mortgage lender. Which is partly why it has been hit harder than the larger banks such as LloydsTSB and HSBC.
only way for these shares is down, down, down.

The p/e is below sector average and they are starting look like good value. I expect the institutions to snap up the shares.

But i bet Andy Hornby is pig sick now, spending all that money on shares and now they are worth less than what he paid for them.

Thanks I meant to say largest mortgage bank. Which is an even better reason to avoid these shares like the proverbial plague as the housing market is due to tank for the next two years at least!! Forget the current P/E ratio, that's historical. - the outlook for future earnings is bleak

HBOS are the second largest BTL mortgage lender. They're falling today on the back of Bradford & Bingley's troubles (B&B being the largest BTL lender).
