Possible free lunch at the Slug and Lettuce chain

Options
Post written 22 April 2008

What's it about?

Register on the Slug and Lettuce website to receive emails about it's promotions and you'll be emailed a link to a voucher for £5 off any food. Print out the voucher and take it with you when you go. To find your nearest use its restaurant finder on the home page.

There are several snacks and sandwiches available for under a fiver (read its menu to see what you want) and as there's no minimum spend required to use it, it's perfectly possible to grab free nosh providing you only have tap water.

How long's it valid?

The voucher can only be spent on food and will have a use-by date on it. Other than those, the press office has told us there are no other restrictions and currently no plans to discontinue the offer.

This is an official note inserted to give a fully researched explanation. Many thanks to MoneySaver jpwhittle for originally spotting the top deal.

i have posted this on the grabbit booard but just realised that there is a free lunch available.
just subscribe via the link and they will email you a voucher for £5 of a meal with no minimum spend. so get one for every person your eating with and you can all eat for free.
drinks arent included but a free meal has to be worth it.
    hope this helps someone:beer:

I just completed details on line and had an e-mail from them stating click on link to activate subscription. What subscription? Do you guys think it is safe to activate as it may just be the voucher but paraniod may mean signing up for something costly or unwanted?

if you click the validation email it brings up the voucher straight away and then you just print the voucher. i think you may get some offers through the email but thats all.

I think it is a subscription to their email newsletter, they say on their site "If we do annoy you at any time then you can always unsubscribe, although be warned, you'll be missing out...!"
