This thread is a continuation of this thread which I've closed because of the many personal posts aimed at upsetting other MSE members, if this should happen again please do not respond, report to abuse.

Clinical depression is a recognised condition that affects people in many different ways often altering the sufferers personality and ability to function in a 'normal' manner. It can affect thinking, judgement, and social behaviour in ways that cause serious problems and embarrassment.

If the depression support thread on MSE is to continue it must be remembered that not all posters on this thread will always be able to express their feelings in a nice, sociable way.

If you find the posts of any particular member difficult to deal with then the ignore facility is available. Just as one person may not be in a place where they can post 'nicely', another may not be in a place where they are able to read said posts.

    thought you lot had evaded me, eh???turn my back for a few hours and you do a moonlight flit again.....never mind, any excuse for a house warming party........or shall i get my coat????
    its raining outside and i havent got me brolly...but ill survive if you dont want me here.....:(:(

    :hello: How is everyone today?

    I had the day off work today and got my hair highlighted and cut. I let the trainee cut it 'cos it meant that it was 50% cheaper :) She's cut it really well and I'm pleased.

    Thanks RBK. I'm okay, bit up and down, and fighting a lot of feelings. Thank you for asking. How are you? Thats good about your haircut. I had my nails done again today, a bit of pampering makes you feel much better doesn't it :)
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

    feelinggood Has something specific happened to make you feel up and down? :confused: If you don't want to say that is fine (((HUGS))). I am OK but have a headache. I woke up with it but thought it would go but it hasn't. I might lie down for a bit to try and get rid of it.

    What did you have done to your nails? Was it some kind of manicure?

    I agree, pampering does make you feel better :) Treating yourself every now and then is a good thing :)

    Hi RBK, sounds like you've had a good day. How are you feeling? Are you going out to show off your new hair?

    Cancelled the appointment for today until Thursday because I have to go to an Anne Summers party and didn't feel up to doing both.
