Debit Card Refund - Pti Europe Regio

Got a refund in my account for £17.99 randomly

It looks to be from a DVD I bought earlier that was £17.99 except I still have the DVD and didnt send anything back?!

It says Debit Card Refund - Pti Europe Regio - £17.99

And there is also Debit Card Refund - Pti Europe Regio - £1.69

I have purchased a £1.69 DVD and £17.99 DVD on amazon but why would I get a refund when I still have them?

Edit - What a joke! They have taken it back!

Im sure its illegal though for them to take the money out your account without permisson. What if someone already spent it?

    i googled for pti europe regio to see why i had a refund randomly out the blue from these and seen you also ask this "Today I have just checked my bank statement and on it says Debit Card Refund - Pti Europe Regio and my account has increased by £17.99?" but then says Doesnt matter ....

    why does it not matter no more? do you know who this is? please would you be able to give me some light on this matter so i can also say " doesnt matter now " thanks :D

    Btw was yours £17.99? Because I bought a DVD for £17.99 so assumed it was a refund from that. I dont know Im just very confused!

    my amazon payments came out as pti too and today i have been refunded, no idea why as i didnt send anything back

    I have just checked. The 3 items I recently bought from Amazon have all been refunded. I have the items. Wonder who has pressed the wrong button and how much this will cost them.

    I bought some stuff from Amazon recently but don't think I've had a refund - d@mn!
    Win £2008 for 2008 Club Member number 408!!!

    Won so far - bottle of Campo Viejo wine, popcorn and Pan’s Labyrinth on DVD. Thanks Channel Five for at last making me a winner!!!

    I have just discovered PTI Europe transactions on my First Direct credit card. (Although I use Amazon I have not purchased anything recently & this is not the card I usually use for Amazon transactions).

    26/3/2008 £9.95 debited by PTI Europe
    28/3/2008 £9.95 credited by PTI Europe

    I am asking my credit card company to explain the transactions.

    i bought a wii and just checked and got a refund on that bad boy!

    OK, This is my very first posting so please be gentle!

    I have checked my statement and I noticed that I have also been refunded money by PTI (I joined Match.com:o )

    What I've noticed is, my membership was debited from my account, then credited, then debited AGAIN.
    I may be wrong but I think it's all to do with transaction charges - Who get's them? It's 2.5% of the overall charge (57p in my case) but when the money was refunded to my account, the transaction charge wasn't.

    Is this what PTI is doing? refunding and recharging accounts so they can keep the transaction charges?
