a "friend" is going to miss his medical.

I have a "friend" who needs to goto a medical next week, but they are going on holiday for a month. So they have phoned up and been given a rescheduled appointment for two weeks after this, but they will still be on holiday then. the !!!-toss medical people said that is latest they can do it, and if doesnt attend he loses his money.

What can he do ?

    As they cant or wont change the medical again he will have to forget the holiday or lose the benefit, it seems they cant have it both ways.

    My husband had to attend a medical a few years back before we moved to Spain permanently, although we were in Spain for about six weeks. He flew back from Spain to attend it.

    my friend is going to be in australia, it's not as easy as just jumping on a quick cheap easy jet flight!

    A month in Australia isnt cheap so you are obviously getting too much in benefits. As it has been said - benefit or holiday?
    Bring the medical forward?
