my MAD e-bay challenge

Options
Ok, this is my latest hairbrained scheme to become debt free, no-one laugh too much! lol,

I need Just under £7000 to become debt free, in a mad moment i thought i only needed to sell 7000 items on e-bay to achieve this :rotfl: , So i have sent myself a really mental challenge, i am not sure that i have over 7000 items in my entire house!! but, i am goin to try and list as much [strike]junk[/strike] treasure that i can, if i make over £1 that will be one item less to find, if i pay off some of my outstanding debt i will take that figure off my 7000, what do you think? am i goin completly mad? also, anything you can think of that i might be able to sell or raise a few more pennies would be gratefully recieved, i already do quidco, pigsbank all the usual suspects and have played my way thro the free bingo, just need to push myself a little more now, get my pesky debts paid off, HOPEFULLY this year!
Hmm, now have to get round to finding things to list and ACTUALLY do it!

  • I think it is a great idea - you are going to need to keep a really eye on free listings postage and packaging etc. I do think that it is possible and a great challange.

Good luck with it - if you are a member of Freecycle, people sometimes advertise car boot/ebay lots, so it might be worth a look when you start to run out of things.

  • well they always say if you want to make £500 ask £500 for £1 each!

i think i've got about £500 - £600 to go on loan so i'll join u, got a fair bit of tatt lined up, just got to find my camera (oops, not seen it in ages!) and get listing!

Is there any kind of time frame to make this money?

Excellent idea, thanks for this thread, i feel inspired now!
there's also an ebay challenge for March on this board if u fancy looking at it for any inspiration.
Who says I have to be normal? :p

    Cool pennywise,

Glad someone else is up for the madness, as for a time frame, shall we say 3ish months? that would give us some time to knock "items" off our targets with any payments and/or paying extras off our debt, we can extend the time frame according to the level of tat we have left or if we/or anyone else wants to keep goin to settle another debt? sounds good to me, just the inspiration i was looking for, thanks for joining, off to have a look at theat other thread now!
