I was just about to sign up for a 6630 at Carphone warehouse :
FREE Clearance Nokia 6630
FREE 500 inclusive anytime minutes
FREE 100 inclusive texts
25 FREE prints with Photobox
FREE delivery
£3.99 per month for 12 months (redemption by cashback)

when I thought I would check onestopphoneshop (who I have used before and who are now owned by carphone warehouse)

Their offer is even better:

Tariff: 3 Talk and Text 600

Superb offer - Nokia 6630 with 11 months FREE - clearance stock

Sign up online and you get an extra £10 cashback. I also linked through Quidco and get a further £15 back - so this deal should cost me £5 for 12 months 500 mins per month plus 100 texts per month with a phone that seems to be selling for arounf £150- £200 on ebay.

You can also change the tariff after 6 months to a lower priced one (they go as low as £15 per month) in this way you can actually make up to £85 in the year if my sums are correct !!

Quidco is at https://www.quidco.com
then link through to onestopphoneshop and select clearance deals.

I am not affiliated to any company mentioned and get no referral fees !

Hope this helps some of you.

I just hope that 3 coverage is good - though there is a 14 day distance selling cool off period in case it is no good !
To infinity and beyond!

  • I've been on Three for nearly two years and the coverage has been pretty patchy from time to time (to say the least) but it always seems to get better - and it certainly has each time I've gotten a newer phone. In fact, I've had the Nokia 6630 for nearly two weeks now and the reception on it is rock solid.

So IMHO I'd say as much is down to the handsets themselves as it is to Three. I'm just annoyed I got mine when I did as today there have been some cracking deals spotted. I could probably do the whole 14-day thing but its too much hassle and I've now given everyone my new number. Tempted to get another handset at these prices (more as a spare rather than to sell) but I can't really make way for another £30 a month DD (before cashback)!

Thank you for the info. It sounds a good deal. I have tried to place an order. Unfortunately after filling all the details correctly, the Onestopphoneshop website's direct debit page is not complete, i.e. no provision for cardholder's name. Therefore I was unable to submit. Has anyone come across with the same problem/ Or have they sold out the offer?
Also, is this a 12 months or 18 onths contract?
    Many thanks.

Good old Mike, glad to see you are sharing with everyone the bargains you continue to find. For myself, I'm in the throws of exchanging phones out of contract thus a penalty (groan groan), never mind, all the money I've saved through people such as yourself making recommendations, I think I've earned myself a little treat. I'll tell you something, prior to retirement it was work/save/work/save and now, if I want something, by heck I have it. You only live once.

Has anyone got a link to the onestopphoneshop offer, as I couldn't find details of it on their site?

    Thanks.

I've just received a reconditioned nokia 6630 from carphone warehouse. It comes in a blister pack with:
    Phone
    Charger
    Battery
    Instructions
    USB cable
    Nokia PC Suite
    64mb MMC card with adapter

I believe this is everything except the Nokia box!

I believe the offer has now finished. I ordered yesterday on the website, but today when I logged on to the customer area, I noticed that it asks me to call sales because there was a problem with despatch of the phone.
Also the link is gone from the website.

    :(

Damn, these people are crap....after ringing me and me arranging to have the phone delivered on Thursday 28th, it arrives today and left with a neighbour!!

Ok I think no probs, but on opening the packaging I find the security seal on the box removed, the battery not in the packaging and the data cable also not in the packaging...Obviouslt not a new unit as agreed. this being annoying in itself, I then find there is no bluetooth headset with the unit.

Guess I need to ring them and tell them the error of their ways and the fact they are trying to sell used goods as new goods :(
    Welcome, rogerramjet.
