Just a warning.
IceSave seem to be having problems with the site and I have been blocked from and logged off when active about 90% of the times in recent weeks. Linnks don't work, etc etc. Nice lady on the phone admits they have IT issues but this bank is organised in such a way that if they block your account (for no reason, just an IT glitch), you can't always have a new password until the next day.
This really interferes with one's banking. I'd think twice before joining this bank. They need to sort their IT issues out.

Don't be too put off though. The problems have only been recent and you can still organise transfers by phoning after they've taken you through security ( works also if your internet connection fails for any reason).
I didn't quite understand the new password bit though. I haven't been blocked, just unable to access account some evenings.0 -
I use them all the time to shuffle my dosh around [in and out] - never had any problems with the website or transactions.0

i'm getting suspicious about all these anti-Icesave posts and articles. i've found them nothing short of outstanding in the 6 months i've had accounts with them. i've just logged into my account clean as a whistle.0

I wanted to transfer the other night. Got to the list of accounts but that was as far as I could go.0 -

It's working OK now, so probably just a temporary problem.0 -
I've never had a problem, but only log in 4 or 5 times a year. A friend did have problems with his ISA appplication - said it took a few attempts to get all the way through. Think they're probably a bit busy at the moment - can't imagine why...0

I'm only passing on my experience. I have been logged out and locked out for no reason too often since I joined a few weeks ago. Maybe older customers are on different servers and these work.
I have several internet accounts elsewhere and this one is a real challenge. My point that there should be a facility to unlock one's account asap surely stands on its own. What if you were in a hurry to transfer money? What if you were going on your hols the next day and can't wait for the new password?
I find the system below par. My friends all rave about Icesave and they too haven't come across problems. So this may be relevant only for new customers.
At least you are aware now. You can make an informed decision.0 -
I regularly log in to IceSave (using AccountUnity - and log into all accounts at least 3 times a week when I'm updating MSMoney.) And there have been the occasional problems in the past week - not completing login, difficult to complete transactions, but the problems haven't lasted longer than (say) an hour when there has been a problem.
Nothing as severe as the OP is trying to make out however.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I can't log in this evening, actually, having said yesterday that I was having no trouble logging in. Yesterday was fine, though others reported problems. Today I can't log in at all. Not that I urgently need to, but it is irritating. Still, at least (unlike ICICI) they will process transactions over the phone.0
