What do stoozers do with the money they gain?

Options
Hi guys and gals

This is purely for interest. Wondered what everyone did with the interest earned from stoozing? Do you buy something special, use for xmas, pay off mortgage ...etc
Look forward to hearing...

Im still deciding, but i am keeping it all seperate from other money ATM

And I enjoying thinking about what it is going to be spent on :)

Things that have crossed my mind

Put it into my mortgage at the next opportunity
Put it into my pension fund :'(

I guess thats it... pretty boring hey? :(

Put it towards the cost of the ongoing loft conversion.

But I won't see it until next June -- it's in the cahoot [closed]"Limited Edition" savings a/c & the interest won't be credited until the end of 12 months [I think]...

So it'll be a 'payback' after the loft is finished
Expect the worst & hope for the best...

  • I won't do anything with it.  The money will make more interest until there comes a point when I might NEED the money for something.

Having the money there as security is important because there comes a day when we are all a little short of cash when we need to spend it on something important.

My stoozed earnings get aborbed into my savings pool.

My aim is to get to a point where I earn more in interest a month than I spend. So my whole salary is surplus and goes straight into savings. Not there yet, but getting closer !

Good plan. Its good to have your money working for you rather than you for it ;D

    I like it Deemy :D
  • I paid my cash against my flexi mortgage - I'm currently saving approximately £200 a month in interest as a result.

As my partner's just applied (and been approved) for 2 new cards, we'll be saving even more from next month!!

We're also paying off a car on 0% too which saves us approx £100 a month in interest. This will be paid off in 12 months time and has only cost us a total of £70 in interest (i.e. the first month while I was waiting for the initial cards to come through).

    I LOVE STOOZING!! ;D
