in It's gone, but was it any good?
Boots are clearing out old models of cameras, i bought an Ixus i for £79.95 in Lincoln yesterday they had 5 in stock, heres a list of whats on offer

Stock varies per store, if the item says full price get them to scan it in as they will be reduced they maybe not aware of the reductions.

Dont forget to go to the advantage card machine for any extra points vouchers !

    Yes its nationwide but the stock carried in each store will vary :)

    Just been over and got a Sony Cybershot 4.1 megapixel camera. Price tag showed it was £249.99 reduced to £199.99, then reduced to £99. Told the salesman Id take one. He checked around for 1 but couldnt find any even though the system was showing 2 in stock. He then offered me the camera on display, I asked how much extra I would get off and he said an extra 10%. So the final price was £90!!

    Had myself a bargain ready for my summer hols, thanks deanos for the info.

    They were bound to offer the Web prices in store eventually!

    Their store prices were beyond a joke: Nikon Coolpix 5200 £99.99 online, £299.99 in store!

    AND they were in stock in store.

    Note that only larger Boots stock cameras though, so don't rush down to your little Boots without phoning first - they won't be on the counter next to the 'other' necessities for your summer holidays...

    funny you should say that i bought the ixus i today was on offer at £79.99 but it was the last one so i knocked her down to £70 after she offered 10% off. The lucky thing was she gave me the camera went to get the box, and i have now got 2 batteries!! They are about £30 each i think for the re-chargable things. Bargain all round now just need to find a bargain case for it :D

    Checked out a couple of the stores:

    Chester city centre - quite a few left
    Cheshire Oaks - one or two only
    Broughton - small number left

    Basic advice - be quick!

    As for me - got the last Samsung 505 for £70.

    Thanks Deanos I picked up a Dimage z1 today at Queen st Cardiff 3 left in stock plus a demo model at close of busines today if anyone is looking, also one demo Dimage z1 @ Swindon.

    If you know what model of camera you are after you are better off calling their customer care line and they will locate the nearest for you, you can then ask them to do an "inter store stock request" and have it delivered to your local, even if your local does not stock cameras they can still transfer in for a definate request, I use this facility regularly with boots and they have always been extremely willing and helpfull.
    Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.
