IE is terrible with favicons
This trick usually works with most sites:
Go to the main site and click on the default IE favicon by the address.
Drag it 2 inches to the right and let go
Usually if you do that 2 or 3 times it shows the site one.
You'll have to ask IE why this is necessary. My IE only ever shows favicons if I do the above.0 -
