i think it would be decent of people to order these if they or someone they know has epilepsy and they will give to them.

if people order these to sell, I find that very disrespectful

Thanks for this.

My daughter has uncontrollable epilepsy.

She already has the childs ID card but now she's 15 I think she'll appreciate the adults one

This is also a good thing for schools, I've looked and they have some really good posters that will go on walls.
I believe all students 13+ should learn basic first aid or at least the recovery position. But then they should all leave with exam results as well in the perfect world.....

Fantastic find!

I have sent for some for my mum.

I feel more education on epilepsy should be given to all. The number of times my mother has had an attack wilst out, and so called first aiders in the shopping centre ect did not know what to do!

Just sending for these had epilepsy now for 9 years can't be controlled by medication, believe me the specialists have tried, now on 19 tablets a day and still increasing !
Epilepsy no damn better than it was 9 years ago, if anything now worse because they have found it is causing blindness also, ho hum such is life.
Kevin.
Edit..just looked and it is with Epliepsy Action and I am already a member of that, doh !!!! Got one of them in my wallet.

Thankyou.

I've been looking for something like this for ages.

My epilepsy is *touch wood* fully controlled so i don't really wanna wear a medic alert bracelet but something like this is great.

THANKS!!!

I was talking to my best friend the other night about my epilepsy (started after i almost choked on my pills whilst taking them!!!)

and we (after about half an hours diliberation!) decided that every child in school should spend 1 day per year not doing lessons but doing a days training with st. john's ambulance.

We're both trained first aiders and it's been invaluable.

I'm really pleased that this freebie will be of use to some people!

I agree that kids should be trained in first aid, it is something that we should all be able to do.

And also, as stated above, PLEASE only order if you have a need for the cards. I haven't ordered any as I have no need for them but I have read up on what to do incase of someone having a fit.

All the best
