Here's this week's hypothetical situation for you to cogitate on:
Should David and Victoria pocket the pizza?
David and Victoria go to Pizza Hunt’s all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch. Once they’re both full, Victoria goes back for more, wrapping up pizza slices in napkins to take home for later. She takes some for the kids as well. David is shocked and says the flat price only applies to all you can eat in one sitting, but Victoria argues that she didn’t’ eat that much anyway.

No, I don't think so...
People who take advantage ruin it for the rest of us0 -
No, "all you can eat" doesn't mean "all you can eat and carry home for the rest of your household". If you don't think your appetite is big enough for you to get value for money then don't go for that kind of deal!
On the other hand, if it was a genuine case of "eyes bigger than stomach" and you just haven't been able to get through everything on your plate then you might as well take the leftovers home as they're only going to go to waste otherwise.0 -
At Pizza Hunt I observed Victoria ordering a small pizza to go.
The cook asked her if she would like it cut into 4 pieces or 6.
She though about it for some time before responding. “Just cut it into 4 pieces; I don’t think I’m hungry enough to eat 6.” :rotfl:0 -
my mum has done this for years and has filled her handbag with "bits for the dogs" funny but thinking back when I was young we had no dog!0

Tantamount to theft if she does that.....0

Do you really think Pizza Hut will care. I used to work for one an dthe amount we threw away at night after we closed was staggaring. Give it all away after 10 pm I say. Who cares if its eaten in restaurant or at home.0

No, when people take the micky the rest of us tend to pay the price.
Its a brilliant deal even if you don't eat much as you get free salad bar too.

I also used to work in Pizza Hut (Back of House), and the buffet is a method of getting rid of the previous night's dough (which doesn't keep long after it's defrosted).
It's one of those situations where the staff wouldn't mind if a small number of people did it on an occasional basis, but if everyone started doing it, it would cause problems.
I don't ever see the practice becoming widespread though, we're still too embarrassed to ask for "Doggy-Bags" in this country.0 -
David ie right. The price you pay is for what you eat on the premises, not what you can carry ~ that's theft!0
