This seems a great price, but i have read Evesham have gone bust - would this be a safe buy?0

I'd be worried, as you cannot update the unit nor get warranty honoured
I've just bought a Garmin 2620 for £114.99 (RRP: £775) from Navcity.co.uk - see this post for more details: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=5425900 -

I agree, £70 is a bargain, but reading into it, the map versions are 2005, and due to the administration I assume no updates are available? Surley it would be worth waiting for maybe a slightly more expensive, but more up-to-date deal to come around??0

I agree this is a great bargain, so i thought about ordering through their webby but was a bit unsure with all the posts re administration, in the end i found that they also post on ebay the exact same model, so you can get a little protection through pay pal.

this is the link,
the added bonus is you can go through quidco for that little extra cash back, and also they had a 'Best offer' link, which i used, and got it even cheaper.
so thanks for this find, hopefully i wont get lost again!!!!0 -

They have been bought by the guys (now Dubai based) who originally ran Time in Blackburn and later Tiny and resurected the flat screen TV side of the business, from the ashes. Called Geemore Technology.
Interesting

My boyfriend rang the sales team who stated that, as in the above post, they had been gone into administration and had been bought out by Geemore. After asking for reassurance, we took a risk and ordered it (by phone). I will post if (hopefully when!) we receive it!!0

Got this yesterday and it looks great. I was a bit worried it wouldn't turn up with the comments about the company going bankrupt etc but glad it did - seems a bargain as i have seen it on other sites for £275 & £300.0
