Thanks Tom, Ill have a look. Im looking at one for my Father In Law for xmas, he's always going on about them and we bought him a compass as a joke for his birthday. Seems a good unit for the money and if it will indeed accept Tomtom we already have the most recent software from our own SatNav :D

I had a look at the ebay ones, but Im concerned by the fact they are refurbs.

Be warned! Recieved Sat Nav, checked it only to find the cd had been opened and the packaging not new.Phoned and they agreed to send a new one as this one was probably a refurb. New one arrived today, same packaging but not a blue media unit (it is a navigon transonic 3002). All instuctions are for BM so assume again it is a refurb.Phoned to complain- got the ' what do you want me to do about it'. Asked about Evesham stabiltiy 'no comment'. I was told this is a better unit and to take his word for it (any advice). Asked for his name- 'Dev' - surname? - ' not obliged to give you that' . Can I speak to your supervisor please? to which he put the phone down.
    Not good.

It's £20 more, but comes with 2 years warranty. What do you think?
