Foolproof Method:
1) Clear your cookies/history from your browser
If you are an RPoints member:
2) Log into RPoints & find Virgin Mobile & Click through to site (so that you get your 4% in points!)
3) Adjust the address in the address bar to read www.virginmobile.com/lifestylerewards (just replace '/mobiles/' with '/lifestylerewards' ) This will take you to a screen where you select 'Check out our phone range'
**If you are not with RPoints just enter
http://www.virginmobile.com/lifestylerewards into your browser.
4) Find your phone (I tried it with Nokia 1100 - but others available) and click 'BUY' not 'More Details'. Discounted phone with the Sim Pack (includes £5 Airtime) & £20 Airtime Voucher should now be showing (£26.99 for Nokia 1100 with £25 total airtime = a £1.99 phone with sim!!)
5) Proceed to checkout.
I would of course suggest reading the More Details sections thoroughly (through a different browser) before making your choice but I found that clicking through to 'Buy' from within the details sometimes changed the invoice price, so if it does I would recommend emptying your basket, clearing your Cookies and returning to the above method to order.
The terms and conditions
Offer is buy a Virgin Mobile phone and joining pack for connection and receive 10% discount and £20 free airtime voucher, plus £5 free airtime on your SIM card.
Any phone returned must be with the promotional £20 airtime voucher, unused, or the full voucher value will be deducted from the normal refund amount paid to the customer.

There isn't one - I got two of these a few months ago when they were £16.99 each.
I guess its only really £25 worth of calls if you sign up to Virgin.
Do what I did - I sold the phone to someone (at cost) and then sold them the £20 voucher...0 -

In a word 'NO', I've tried it! But all is not lost because once you have spent £30 on airtime you can ask Virgin to unlock it for you and they will send you the unlock code for free. But to be fair Virgin's Tariff is pretty good value & if your partner/friends are on it too you can text each other for just 3p.:EasterBun
