Bank Account Frozen PLEASE HELP

Please does anyone have any advice.

On Monday I went to the hole-in-the wall and it swollowed my card, I called into my bank and they said my account had been frozen as a payment that had been made into my account via chaps was being investigated. Now I got a loan for £300 from a ooan company and missed the repayment date, the bank said that the loan company said the £300 loan was paid to the wrong person and the bank froze my account.

I have all my benefits paid into this account, my Income Support, Child Benefit and Child Tax credit, I spoke to the Bank Manager and he took I.D from me got me to sign a form and said the fraud department will be investigating and that i can have NO access to any funds until a decision has been made which may in the bank managers own words could take weeks or months. What can I do, i have no access to my benefits, nothing to live on, and no money to support my 2 kids aged 2 and 3.

Please any advice anyone

Well it gets even worse now, This weeks benefits have also managed to find there way into the account thats frozen even though the dwp promised an old fashioned giro payment. I have been into the bank Monday, tuesday and again today and no matter how i beg and plead they will not allow access to my state benefits until an investigation has been completed and then they may freeze it indefinately. Now what can I do I am totally sc***ed, and my basic thinks will probably dry up by saturday, ie food, kids nappies. Social informed me I am not eligable for a crisis loan as it is a matter between me and bank, short of having to ask the salvation army for a food hand out i am baffled and upset.

Have You Tried Cab? Have You A Credit Union Nearby? What About Going To Your Local Paper And Shaming Them All For Doing This To You And Little `uns.

Surely As Well If Bank Account Frozen Why Didnt It Reject Your Benefits Going In? They Can Take It In But Cant Let It Out? Surely Frozen Means Frozen?

i don't know what you mean by troll, but i can assure you that my situation is real, i have been close to breakdown and in tears for a few days now, if you want some proof then i can scan in a copy of the letter i received from the Halifax stating that my account is frozen from issuing funds until an investigation has been completed and a decision made.
