Hi All,
O2 Previously did this offer, with a max. of £50 i think it was, but its back now for £200!
Heres how you do it!
EDIT: See 2nd Post, as the text line is currently not working properly
1 - Get new sim card. (Those free ones do fine!)
2 - Send a Text from original handset with original SIM Card to 865555 with the Mobile Phone Number thats with your new SIM Card (EG 07890123456) as the message.
3 - O2 will send back a message confirming your upgrade and your free calltime credit amount.
4 - The calltime credit will be applied to your calltime balance in 14 days. The new SIM card and new mobile phone number will be disconnected.
5 - You can now use your new handset whilst retaining your existing number, calltime balance, Bolt Ons and any numbers stored on your SIM card.
6 - Once calltime credit has been applied, bin the new SIM Card
Good Luck!
Jake
NB: This is not totally factually accurate, tho it is possible to get £200 it depends on how much you have topped up by over either the last 18 months or since your last upgrade whichever is the more recent & the actual offer is you get 10% back of your top-ups so in theory to get £200 reward you need to top-up by £2000 since last upgrade or last 18mths,whichever applies to you!

BTW. If the text line doesn't work call 5450 and follow the instructions!

This has come back now they have closed all the loopholes.
It will be identified that you haven't upgraded your phone (that's when you can claim this credit) and no money will be applied.
Please note this is the kind of thing that will prevent genuine customers from getting good offers.

Txt line hasn't worked, and it's told me to fone 5450. Is this an automated service?? I'm not a good liar, so speaking to a customer service advisor is a no go for me0 -
