Unwanted Text Messages
Options
i keep receiving text messages from a company called NoWorriesLoans.com advertising their company. at first i ignored these and deleted them, but now i seem to get them every few days. There is no way of replying to the message to ask them to stop as the sender is "NWL" and it doesn't display a number other the the 0871 number to call to sign up.
What do you suggest i do to stop them contacting me again?

Have tried that but no answer as yet.
Is there a way of making a complaint about them to anyone?0 -
You could try ofcom and try registering with the TPS, details here
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/Oftel/consumer/advice/faqs/prvfaq8.htm0 -
send them a registered letter saying you will be charging them £1.50 for proof reading their unsolicited mail and billing them accordingly, keep them for a few weeks then take them to the small claims court. balifs comming through the door of a dodgy loans compay, i would pay money for that lol, if it happens phone skynews would you.0

That has no basis in law. Its like me telling you I'm going to charge you £1.50 for reading your posts, then taking you to small claims when you don't pay.0 -
Sarahr,
You have been receiving what is known as 'Unsolicited Promotional Texts' which is against terms & conditions set out by both the 'Information Commisioners Office' (ICO) & 'PhonePayPlus'.
E-mail the sender and inform them they are going to forward a complaint against them to these two bodies, don't phone on the 0871 number it is minimum 12p+ a minute.
Check out the ICO & PhonePayPlus websites and make a complaint either online or by phone. As you have been advised also register with the TPS, also online.
Good luck0
