Grocery List/ List of basic meals

Has anyone a grocery list/ list of basic meals I could use and adapt for my household organisation file?
Not quite sure where to start.....
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    The basic meals I cook each month are:-

    Spag bol
    Lasagna
    Shepherds pie/cottage pie
    Pasta
    Toad in the hole
    Roast chicken
    Risotto

    Or you could try looking at the Meal Planning threads for some lists of meals people cook.

    Or write a list of meals you like to eat/like to cook and then work out the grocery list from that. ;)

    Anyway, maybe start with whatever you like (list here if you want) Do you want to eat more healthy/cheaply, most of the time they both go hand in hand.

    This made:
    chilli con carne
    toad in the hole (had batter mix)
    lamb stew
    corned beef hash (had tin corned beef)
    lasagne
    red wine beef casserole
    cheese and onion toasties
    cheese and ham toasties
    ham sandwiches (6 sarnies)
    JP+beans (enough for 4)
    JP and coleslaw (enough for 4)
    yorkie pudds saus chips gravy
    ham and swcorn pizza
    fruit
    snacks
    fruit juice

    I have leftover

    approx 10 JP's, 1 1/2 bags of carrots, shephards pie for next week, pizza base mix, garlic for GB, potatos for next week, yorkie pudds, tomatos, beans, eggs, onioins.

    So shop for this week should be approx £25 to inc toilet rolls etc. This feeds family 2 adults, 1 oddler and a baby. Unfortunatly due to nightwork hubby and I eat at seperate times of day!
