Anyone know what this processor is equiv to in Athlon or Pentium terms?0

The new Celeron D chips are actually quite good! Not quite up to the equivalent speed P4, but not too far off, and a vast improvement on their predecessor.0

I wouldn't say it was a bargain. It's not bad, although I'd imagine most of the components would be poor in quality. Personally I'd rather spend an extra £200 and get a more stable system, better quality system, and better monitor (think of your eyes). I've never had any joy with cheaper computer systems."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

Wolfman I disagree - I bought a Dell Celeron 330D in the cheap offer a few weeks ago and the build quality seems very good - certainly better than some of the cheap spec machines you'd get from other online providers if you bought a sub-£350 machine. Keyboard and mouse aren't bad quality, case is very sturdy and CD drive seems OK (although a little noisy when running at 52x). Plus 1GB memory is more than enough for anyone.
I reckon the 15" TFT screen isn't particularly good for playing games, but as an internet/word processing screen or for basic kiddie games it will be fine.
Throw in a £40 PCI graphics card and you've got a good little machine for around £350, which should play games like Medal of Honor without any problems. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
no point arguing anymore, it's not available anymore, when I change the warranty to 1 year car, I get redirected to a page that says the system isn't available anymore. No reliance should be placed on the above.0

I've just managed to get to the checkout with this. I'm still thinking about it though.0
