Salmon and prawns

Bought Salmon fillets - reduced to £1 for 2. And some tesco value king prawns £1.99.
Ned to create a meal for 2 with them..... i always cook salmon in white wine and use the cooking sauces to maek a yummy creamy sauce.... but what else could i do?
Was thinking of maybe doing a garlic dip/sauce for the prawns....not sure how though.
Help please!

I would poach the salmon. Then melt some butter in a pan, add the prawns and some garlic and parsley. When the prawns are heated thoroughly remove them from the pan or they will become overcooked. Reduce the garlic butter a little more. Serve the prawns on top of the salmon with a salad and crusty bread.

cook some tagliatelle or spaghetti and mushrooms,
drain and stir in the cooked salmon cut into small chunks (any seafood or smoked fish goes well) along with the prawns and mix with single cream....absolutely delicious with lots of black pepper

  • make a fishermans pie! Cook the salmon and prawns in milk or wine or whatever, then make it into creamy sauce with cream/philadelphia/etc

put mash on top (with mustard and cheese is nice) and then bak in the oven.

let us know what you ended up making!.

I usually poach it in milk but you could just steam it (covered) in the microwave. Just seen ausielle's reply....I have never tried it with milk in the microwave but it sounds good.
