Did anyone receive a leaflet..i dont think i will be going because i went to one of these 2 years ago and they make you bid and they charged everybody 5 quid for some crappy pens ( it was entrance fee) and you had to pay £5 to enter and bid!
This looks a little different though because there is no sign of entrance fee
It says at bottom

Big scam, You'll see quality goods up on the stage and then in the hype of the crowd lose all sense of reason. You'll pay your cash and they'll give youa black bag full of junk.
Stuff will either be dodgy, faulty, cheapo imitation or nicked. They hold these things at hotels as they can diappear into the night. As ong as hotel gets paid for hire of venue they don;t care.

Trust me, it's not a police au ction.
Stolen goods are sold off but usually internally (ie, you visit the station to purchase) or through a police auction website (https://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk ).
Not a police auction, but I bet the police will be in the crowd, alongwith trading standards, etc.
