Cheap jars

I know that the cheapest way of getting jars for jam is to recycle, but given the sudden glut of fruit I've found I don't want to waste this opportunity.
A while ago someone posted a link to a website that sold jars quite cheaply - but you bought in bulk of about 30 jars. I thought I'd saved the website, but can't find it. I've also spent the past hour searching for the post and although I can find lots of posts relating to other places selling jars I can't find this particular one that is by far the cheapest. Please can anyone help!!!
Thanks,
Kaz x

although it is wasteful, I've found it cheapest to buy the tesco value jam and chuck it away.0

Funiily enough WhistlerAlison I was begining to wonder if something along those lines might be my best option!!!
Thanks for the link Pink - it isn't the one I was looking for, but a pretty good one nontheless (and I think as cheap).
The one I originally found was for a supplier that not only supplied those jars but all sorts of farm kitchen stuff - all the way to super duper milk churns! Quite the OS heaven
I've even tried using normal search on aol using farm supplies etc, but no joy. I'm so annoyed with myself for not bookmarking it properly!
Thanks for the help,

I just ordered some value jam in my online shop to get the jars - 35p each. next time though I'll have a look at Freeman and Harding because they are a couple of miles from where I live and they say you can pick them up! Works out about the same as buying the jam but at least I don't have the guilt trip of throwing it away.0

Unfortunately they won't deliver to us in NI, but my MIL doesn't live too far away and gets some for me so I can pick them up when we go to see her.
As you say Alison, they are much the same price as the tesco value jam.....I bought some of value jam a couple of years ago for the same reason as you to re-use the jars, thinking I could use the jam up, but my children wouldn't touch anything I made using it.

I've decided that much as I never want to marry again I might just make an exception if I find a suitable farmer, lol.January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far)

For goodness sake ask your neighbours, put up a notice on the gate saying Wanted Jam Jars. or go to the bottle bank and Tesco's or whereever and rob them from the boxes people can't be bothered to post through the holes.
I just can't get over the idea of buying cheap jam just for the jars. There's nowt wrong with scrounging off your friends and neighbours. I do it all the time.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
