Not sure how well it works but at £14.99 thought it was a bit of a bargain that OSer's would be proud of!!:D

I just bought a cheap bread maker at Asda, since my husband is an employee. We paid £20. I figure it's good to try out a cheap one to see how I like making bread. If I love it, then I'll get the panasonic one when/if the cheap one breaks down.:beer:0

I have been thinking about getting a breadmaker for ages now but didn't want to spend £50+ incase I didn't use it. But for £15 I think I will give it a go, my local store has one reserved for me.
Does it look any good?0 -

I got one from Asda (son works there, so i got a discount) a few weeks back, its brilliant,Hoping that when I start looking after the pennies, and the pounds will take care of them selves :j0 -
I’m really indecisive now. Especially after reading Echo's post. I have been thinking of buying a bread maker now for a long time. We buy 3-4 loafs a week and they take up so much space in our tiny freezer. This price seemed reasonable since we are on a really tight budget. Called my husband in work and he said I could get it if I would use it… and not let it gather dust like the smoothie/juice maker I just had to have for Christmas.
Checked my local Argos and they have one left.
Don't know what to do now.....
Went out and got it in the end
Sitting here and reading recepies now, happy, happy, happy....:D0 -
Thankyou!Ive bought one.Didnt show up as any online but instore their was.
Yes recipies look basic thankfully! It seems quite robust and heavy.
I bought one last year from superdrug to find it had no recipies.Ive never made bread before so this should be interesting. It has recipies for carrot cake and banana bread as well0 -
I'm doing the basic white bread now (got 2hrs left on the timer) If all goes well I will try the banana walnut cake tomorrow0
