The Latest Must Have Cookery Book

Options
I got my delivery from the Book People this morning (christmas pressies and a couple of freebies for me) because I had some points to use up I decided to treat myself to some new cookery books.

I have to say that I didn't think there was much new for me to learn after 21 years of cooking on a budget but The New English Kitchen has proved me wrong, it is the best combination of how to, where to and when that I have ever read and at the moment it is in the Cookery Sale section for £4.99. It's in hardback and even has it's own ribbon bookmark. For those who think they have nothing new to learn you will be surprised and for those who are just starting out this is the best book ever.

I'll second that, Moggins, I bought this when it was published. It is fab. Lots of ways of rolling one meal into another, wasting nothing. I particularly like the way she shows you how one expensive joint of meat can make several meals and serve umpteen people.
