Has anyone noticed a change in sales since the ebay shops change?

I haven't had a single sale since Thursday which is very unusual, normally sell around 10-20 a day!
I sold 10 on Wednesday but only 2 on Thursday.

2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!

My sales have changed, I'm finding days that used to be popular are slow and days that were slow are now better. For instance I never used to sell anything on a Saturday, yet yesterday was quite good. Sunday used to be good for me, but at the moment nothing at all.
I am still considering closing my shop as I think I am now borderline as to whether or not it is cost effective.

I was only going to keep it going for this month anyway, got the free month last month (even though I was charged quite a bit for this but have been told it will show as a credit on my account), but it does seem a bit weird that sales have dropped.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!

How much were you charged? A shop is only £6 per month and I don't think that I was actually charged at all for my first month, I don't remember having to wait for a credit at all. Obviously all the listing charges apply, they aren't free for the first month.
I'm still working through my shop prices at the moment to see how much I can move down into the £4.99 and under price range to save fees in future.

The new system is bound to have an effect - that's why EBay brought it in. As a buyer & only occasional seller I welcome the change because I was getting put off browsing EBay as I used to. It was like going to some car boot sales where over half the stuff is brand new with traders taking over from the original concept of car-boot sales - I don't bother with any boot sales now as the local ones are just getting too big - it was getting the same with EBay.0

Soo
For the first month (the free one) I went for the one at £30 a month then when this was due to be renewed I changed it to the £6 one. This is how it shows on my statement :-
Date Fee Type excl. VAT incl. VAT
(PDT) (GBP) GBP
16-Jul Shop (Featured): Subscription Fee £0.00 £0.00 Discount of -£17.87 included (from 25-Jun - 15-Jul)
16-Jul Shop (Featured): Subscription Fee £18.12 £21.29 Discount of -£7.41 included (from 16-Jul - 15-Aug)
Total: £21.29
Subscription fees
Subscription fees are usually under the Monthly and one-off-time Fees section. As a new subscriber, your invoice will show three lines of activity:
A one-off pro-rated charge based on the number of days left in your billing cycle when you started the subscription.
The regular monthly subscription fee covering the next billing cycle in advance.
A one-time credit for the free one-month trial, equal to the regular monthly subscription fee.
Although it may appear as if you are being charged for the first 30 days, a month's subscription credit will be posted to your account to offset the charge. If you decide to cancel your subscription at any time during the free trial period, the remaining subscription balance will be credited to your account and will appear on your next invoice.
I'm presuming this means because I cancelled the £30 a month shop I will be credited with the £21.29 I have been charged last month & will just be charged £6 for this month?2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!

Oh I see this has kicked in now, I forgot the date it was from. I thought I read something also about in search the cheapest would be listed top as oppose to the ending soonest. When does this come into affect?0

I thought you could customise the way listings are displayed? - last time I looked, I think it had defaulted to the nearest seller for some reason!0

Just sold 2 today now, obviously people are still finding my items but maybe it's too much hassle for them now.
TBH I don't know how I cope at times but it's my craft magazines which take up valuble space which I need now (Baby due in 8 days!) & I need the money. I think I had over 500 at one point!2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!
